Deepfakes in Focus: Aigner at Neuramancer

Neuramancer (formerly Neuraforge) had the honor of welcoming Ilse Aigner, President of the Bavarian State Parliament, to our company and presenting our advanced technologies for detecting and combating deepfakes. In an open dialogue, we discussed the challenges that AI-generated content poses for society, and especially for democracy.

Delegation also included the press department of the Bavarian State Parliament.

As part of a jointly coordinated creation of so-called deepfakes of Ilse Aigner, President of the Bavarian State Parliament, we were able to demonstrate in advance that highly realistic results can already be produced today with the simplest of means. This underscores the importance of reliable detection of image and video manipulation, as offered by our technology—not only for industry, but also for safeguarding democracy in the fight against disinformation. To learn more about the current state of deepfakes and to experience our software demonstration, Ms. Aigner was accompanied by Press Spokesperson Caroline Kubon as well as several delegates from the press and social media department of the Bavarian State Parliament. In addition, representatives from various media outlets were present.
